Hair Removal: If you need to shave or wax, do this at least 24 hours before you come in.
Exfoliation (peeling): Scrub your entire body thoroughly, especially elbows and knees. Avoid sugar, coffee, or oily scrubs that leave a residue. I recommend an exfoliating mitt.

Day of Your Appointment

Shower: Wash your body (intimate gels are great for their optimal pH!), take off your makeup, and skip all moisturizers, perfumes, and antiperspirants.
Clothing: Wear dark, loose-fitting clothes that won't rub against your skin or restrict your movement after the session.

It is best to schedule your spray tan 2 to 3 days before your event. This gives the tan enough time to fully develop and ensures the initial bronzer is completely rinsed off.

While it varies from person to person, your tan will typically last about 7 to 10 days. A lot depends on how well you prepare your skin beforehand and your aftercare routine. The tan will fade naturally and gradually.

Colour transfer can only happen when the initial bronzer is still on your skin immediately after tanning. Since you'll be booking 2 or 3 days before your wedding, you'll have showered at least twice. Any leftover bronzer from your first rinse will be completely gone after your second shower, leaving zero risk of ruining your beautiful gown.
